Strokestown, County Roscommon
Strokestown (Irish: Béal na mBuillí) is small town in County Roscommon, Ireland, located at the junction of the N5 and the R368 in the northern portion of the county. Notable features include one of the widest streets in Ireland, the Strokestown Park House, an 18th-century mansion that now houses Ireland's Famine Museum and Anthony Beirne's Pub, known as having the best pint of Guinness in Ireland.  In addition to some of the finest farmland in the West of Ireland, Strokestown is also a well known angling destination, with dozens of lakes producing some of the finest specimens of coarse fish in the country, year after year.
